"CLEAN FOR SON TRA" TO WELCOME A NEW SPRING 2016

This program will be conducted on January 10, 2016 by Son Tra Eco Tourism Sea Board in cooperation with GreenViet Biodiversity Conservation Centre.

“Clean for Son Tra” is a program under the “For a Green Son Tra” campaign in 2016 in cooperation of Son Tra Eco Tourism Sea Board (Son Tra Board) and GreenViet Biodiversity Conservation Centre (GreenViet). This program was established since 2014 and has been strongly supported by Da Nang citizen with several events.

“For a Green Son Tra” campaign has been proposed to implement in 2016 by Son Tra Board as a main program to raise awareness of local people and tourists about protecting environment in Son Tra Peninsula as well as contributing in protecting and developing forest and sea ecosystems. This program will be conducted quarterly with participation of other agencies in local area, especially enthusiasm youth that have been participated in previous cleaning program in 2014 and 2015.

This “Clean for Son Tra” program with the participation of more than 200 young citizens will be conducted on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 7AM to 11AM, focusing on cleaning some areas from Ho Xanh to Linh Ung Pagoda toward Bai Bac area; and from Yet Kieu Street to Ban Co Top toward Intercontinental Sun Peninsula Resort. Besides, another group of enterprises will support cleaning floating trash in some areas that affect to coral in Son Tra.

This program has been strongly supported of some agencies in Son Tra, especially Holiday Beach Hotel has supported finance for us. Besides, Vietnam Television in Central Region VTV8 will take this opportunity to make a 6 minutes report.
