"THINK GREEN - SHOP CLEAN" FAIR

On Saturday, 14 September 2013, the “Think green-Shop clean” Fair held by Center for Development of Community Initiative and Environment (C&E) took place at Phu Dong primary school, 34 Yen Bai street, Hai Chau Province, Da Nang, Viet Nam.
Under the support of “Capacity building for sustainable lifestyles in Viet Nam” project (a co-operation project between Vietnam Ministry of planning & investment, UNDP and SGS-Group Management Vietnam Ltd), the “Think green-Shop clean” Fair events are being established in Vietnam with the attempt to give multi-vision about positive and environment friendly shopping to minimize the negative effects on environment.

As a continuation of Haiphong “Think green – Shop clean” Fair in 17 and 18 of August, the Fair at Danang city was held at Phu Dong primary school, 34 Yen Bai street, Hai Chau Province in 14/9/2013. The Fair provided a multi-view and knowledge for everyone in community in term of consumption to inspire the positive choices when shopping and using services as well as to support innovative companies, to improve green-skills, green-jobs such as: green-services, ethical consumption, eco-products, low emitting products, eco brands, local products and bio products. There are approximately 30 fair booths of the sustainable businesses, environment and community clubs in Danang area. This is an opportunity for companies and individuals in Danang city who have concerned about sustainable and clean products to expend the co-operation business relationships and wanted to improve the environmental quality and living quality of Vietnamese people.
GreenViet Center had also a booth to introduce the fundraising products for the Red-shanked Douc langur conservation project and sedge handicrafts of The Beach House Danang shop. Besides, there were interesting games for children such as finding wild animal cards or coloring 2D and 3D pictures.
